Through a combination of courses, students gain foundational knowledge and skills essential for diverse educational settings. The curriculum integrates licensure courses, making it particularly valuable for those pursuing careers in K12 education, although this minor will not result in licensure. The minor also appeals to students interested in careers beyond teaching, including roles in museums, nonprofits, and organizations such as the Peace Corps.
