The Center for AI and the Liberal Arts (CAILA) advances interdisciplinary learning and research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the liberal arts. In partnership with departments across the university, the Center equips students with both technical understanding and the critical, ethical, and creative perspectives needed to navigate an AI-shaped world. CAILA's programs provide students with academic experiences and professional opportunities through faculty research grants, guest lectures, workshops, and collaborative projects that explore AI's applications, limitations, and societal implications across disciplines.
